Acknowledgment Statement

I acknowledge and agree that, in line with Empower Australia’s policies:

I may only commence volunteering once Empower Australia has received a notification of WWCC approval from the Department of Justice; and

Should Empower Australia receive an Interim Negative Notice or Negative Notice from the Department of Justice, Empower Australia may terminate my volunteer agreement and I am to cease volunteering immediately.

I will be undertaking a volunteer position at Empower Australia and will perform all duties on a voluntary basis. I understand that this means I will not be paid or compensated for my work.

I agree to complete any required induction or training, and to comply with any policies and procedures provided to me by Empower Australia (including OH&S, food safety etc.)

Every Friday, our volunteers set up our Food Relief Centres in Melbourne and Geelong so that we are ready to serve our communities on Sundays. We are passionate about providing not only food relief but also dignity, care, and support to thousands of Victorians.
